It's Worse than we Thought....

This list  is courtesy of Rolling Stone, which actually tried to assemble the vast number of bizarre and ignorant utterances from the repuglican presidential candidates during the past year.

Yep, Tessa Stuart distilled the steaming dung pile into 15 of the most notable, um, offerings...

  1. It's interesting how candidates say, and get away with, the most bizarre and strange things these days. In the past, they would have been chastised and berated by the mainstream media. Not in today's climate, though. With ultra-fanatical fear-mongering the order of the day, they at the very least get a free pass -- often supported and prodded to throw the wingnuts more of the red meat they're desperate to receive.

It's very reminiscent of the waning days of past crumbling empires...

    1. Yes, the msm never calls out the blatant lies of any candidate anymore, and the more outrageous, the better. I think they strive to create the carnival-game show atmosphere. Bread and circuses!

During the repuke debates, no one called out Snarly Fiorina for her outlandish lies about Planned Parenthood. I think both the repug extremists and the msm have blood on their hands from the Colorado Springs shooting at Planned Parenthood.

To paraphrase Adobe's "tag lines for their software products:
America. Come for the freedom - Stay for the fascism!

  5. America obviously has the perfect fertile ground for growing bushels of fascism, and acres of totalitarianism, although rights and justice don't do too well because of the overabundance of reign.

It might be due to El Niño.

    Happy New Year!...

  6. Okay, FT, I concede. Maybe it's not because of El Niño. But, ya' gotta admit, it's undoubtedly due to El estúpido...

  7. It's no wonder anymore when the Cult has indoctrinated it's dupes into believing in an international conspiracy of evil climate scientists, and "Liberals are commies" and "Tax cuts for the rich help us all".

Our national motto is ready: War is peace, Freedom is slavery, and Ignorance is strength.
